Born on 21 April 2001, Kellum Clark is an American baseball player who is currently playing for Mississippi State. Prior to his 2020-21 year at Mississippi State, he had a highly successful high school career.

Apparently, he played for the Jackson Academy varsity baseball team from 2016-18 and helped them finish second place in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools Class 4A-D1 state tournament three times in a row.

Closing his high school career at Brandon High School, he earned all-state honors as a junior and senior. He completed high school with a 4.0 GPA and was garnered with Citizenship and Leadership Award.

Recently, on June 22, 2021, Clark broke up Virginia no-hitter at the College World Cup Series. Apparently, hit a two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning against Virginia to end Griff McGarry’s no-hitter against Mississippi State.

Apparently, Kellum’s dad played baseball at Belhaven University from 1990-91. In 1990, David also earned the GSAC all-conference honors. Further, the 1991 Belhaven team was coached by Skip Blythe which eventually reached the NAIA Tournament and finished the season 31-16 overall.
