Kaye Adams Children: Meet Charley Campbell And Bonnie Campbell

Kaye is not married but has been with her long-term partner Ian Campbell for 26 years.

The pair met when he was her tennis coach and had been together for eight years before she decided she wanted children. The pair have two daughters together, Charley, 17, and Bonnie, 12.

Talking about marriage she said the pair have never felt the need to get hitched but isn’t opposed to the idea, saying: “If Ian wants to pop the question and I get a decent ring and a good holiday out of it I wouldn’t say no.”

Kaye gave birth to her second child Bonnie four months ago but is clearly relieved she’s remained so upbeat since the baby’s arrival – because it was so different when she had her first daughter Charly, now four.

While new baby Bonnie has been sleeping through the night, Charly cried for weeks after she was born.

Kaye now reveals for the first time how she suffered from crippling postnatal depression and says she experienced a “living hell”, which only ended when Charly was four months old.

“I said to the midwives in the hospital where Bonnie was born, ‘I’m really worried about her because she doesn’t cry,’” recalls Kaye, laughing at the memory. “They looked at me as if I was crazy. It didn’t feel right to me, based on my experience with Charly, who cried a lot.”
