Kate is actually a producer on Michelle’s show, working previously on Hollyoaks and A League Of Their Own before moving on to Emmerdale.

Michelle Hardwick’s wife is Kate Brooks, a 42-year-old television producer. Michelle and Kate’s engagement story is the stuff of modern-day fairytales. Hardwick rented out a cinema to propose to Kate and organized a Greatest Showman flash mob.
But the engagement escapade didn’t end there – the pair also went BIG for the wedding. Kate and Michelle married at Elvis Presley’s Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee, back in September 2019.
Though Michelle changed her legal name to Brooks, she still keeps Hardwick as her acting name. In 2020, Michelle and Kate welcomed their first baby Teddy into the world.
Teddy was also on the Loose Women show, watching on as his mum announced he would soon have a baby sister. Michelle happily added: “Looking at where we are, we’ve been married for nearly three years.”
