Hailing from Ukraine, young Karolina was born on October 3, 2008, in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. She and her family moved to California’s Simi Valley in 2014.
She started taking violin lessons after her family moved to America and started performing as a street performer in mid-2007. The young violinist started gaining fame after posting videos of her performance on prominent social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Karolina’s father Nikolay Protsenko is a well-versed guitarist. He was born on January 11, 1986, in Ukraine.
For education, Nikolay studied at one of the most prestigious universities in Ukraine, the Pedagogical Drahamanov University which is located in the capital Kyiv. He is known to be fluent in Ukrainian and English.
While living in Ukraine, Nikolay saw a lot of success with his online job which revolved around stores. As an avid traveler who’s been to over 15 countries, he’d longed to live in a foreign country for a while.
The start of the Ukraine and Russia conflict gave him the perfect reason to move to a different country. So, following his in-laws who have a US Green Card, Nikolay, alongside his wife and then 6-year-old Karolina, moved to California in the United States in late 2014 and have decided to settle there for the foreseeable future.

Karolina’s mother Ella Protsenko is a talented pianist and singer. She was born on October 29, 1986, in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Like her husband, she is very involved in the musical training of her daughter. In fact, she takes it one step further by regularly performing with her during her street performances.
Whenever Karolina is tired of playing the violin, or on some days just feels like singing, Ella steps up and gets behind the piano so she can perform with her daughter. She is also a performer herself and has her own YouTube channel where she sings covers of popular songs while playing the piano or sometimes without.
Her YouTube channel has amassed over 23K subscribers. She also manages the Protsenko Family vlog channel alongside her husband which has over 105K subscribers.
Karolina Protsenko Has Two Younger Siblings
Karlina Protsenko brothers are Leo and Nicholas Protsenko who are both younger. Leo was born on April 19, 2018, and Nicholas on December 24, 2020.

Karolina’s brother Leo is ten years younger than her. Unlike her sister, he was born in America.
Though he may not yet show any musical aptitude like his older sister, the young boy has managed to nab a bit of fame himself. He has a successful Instagram profile to his name managed by his guardians.

Her journey began at the age of five when her mother taught her a few music basics. Within a year, the young girl was itching to play a musical instrument.
To that end, her mother and father asked her to choose between a saxophone and a violin to begin her musical education and she ended up picking the violin. This led to young Karolina started practicing the violin daily as well as taking violin lessons.
