The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas.
They starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its 2010 sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season.
The band have released five albums: It’s About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2019).
In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards.
Six years following their split, the group reunited with the release of “Sucker” on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the Jonas Brothers’ first number-one single on the chart.
Jonas Brothers Parents: Meet Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Jonas
Paul and Denise Jonas are the parents of four children: Kevin Jonas (1987), Joseph Jonas (1989), Nicholas Jonas (1992), and Frankie Jonas (2000).
Paul Kevin is a musician and songwriter. He now manages the ‘Jonas Brothers.’ He has also served as an ordained minister of an ‘Assemblies of God’ church.
Denise Miller-Jonas, fondly referred as Mama Jonas, is famously known as the mother of the Jonas brothers. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she was a sign language teacher who moved to California after marrying Kevin Jonas Sr.
After graduating from high school, Denise wanted to pursue missionary work and started working for Christ the Nations Institute in Dallas as a teacher. After marrying, she travelled along with her husband on his missionary work, thus fulfilling her dream.
She settled with her family in Wycoff, California after Kevin Jonas Sr got the job of a senior pastor. In some time, her children formed the sensational boy band ‘The Jonas Brothers’ and she decided to fully encourage their calling.
She travelled with them on their tours when they were minors and undertook other managerial responsibilities. As a result, she was a part of various documentaries and TV series.
