Soon after her death, her husband, Joe Garcia also followed. He couldn’t bear the death of the love of his life and his heart gave up. The family is asking for prayers as the mourning has become more difficult.

Moreover, he died of a heart attack, according to their niece.
The shooting at Robb Elementary School that took place on May 25 claimed the lives of 11 young children and two teachers. One of them was Irma Garcia, the 4th-grade teacher at the Uvalde School District.
Her death had already cast a hole in the family, and the pit has grown deeper as her husband has been reported dead as well. This has caused more panic in the family amid the mourning.

Joe and Irma Garcia left behind four wonderful children.
Married for around 24 years, they were high school sweethearts. The two of them had been together for almost 30 years and Joe’s heart couldn’t even survive for a single day without her.
As per Irma’s bio on the school’s website, she was a mother to two sons, Christian, and Jose, and two daughters. Lyliana, and Allysandra. We send our heartfelt condolences to the family and everyone who knew Joe and Irma.
Their children are currently with relatives. It’s hard losing both of your parents within a day or so.

The 18-year-old who opened fire in Robb Elementary School in Uvalde is Salvador Ramos.
According to the police, the suspect has been arrested and he is currently under their custody. However, there hasn’t been any further development on his case until now.
The suspect’s mother, however, gave an interview. She described him as “not a monster” but “aggressive at times.”
The rampage took the lives of 21 people including 19 elementary students. It is one of the deadliest school mass shootings in the history of the country.
