Werrason and JB Mpiana: a new declared war?
It is a secret for no one. The whole city speaks about it. The violins no longer agree between Werrason and JB Mpiana. The two stars become each, boss and leader of his group engaged in a new war whose exact reasons remain unknown.
Until proven otherwise, neither of them had the courage to explain to the press the causes of the controversy that is tearing their relationship apart. “Who did what to the other and why do they want to make the news or have they become friend-foe?” As many questions as the well-known observers who, however, consider between the two stars the time of the war is over!
No member or close to Wenge BCBG or Wenge Mother House can tell the truth to the national opinion on the crisis that decimates relations between the King of the forest and Marshal Mukulu. Oddly enough, we can see that nobody speaks well of each other on television. The last passage of the boss of Wenge BCBG on the antennas of Kin 24 testifies and shows that the climate is not good with his best friend, Werrason. Unfortunately, he did not reveal the reasons for this tension while their fans got along with a featuring in place of the clash!
On the various televisions of the Capital or in social networks, one feels a very high dose of anger that only goes up on both sides. Just look at and hear the language of Wenge BCBG or Wenge MM’s spokespeople to really understand that there is something wrong with JB Mpiana and Werrason.
Often, it is Sankara of Kunta who plays the Kamikaze and the madman of the King at the side Wenge MM, intervenes to launch quibbles to the adorable Angels. On the other side, we must expect the replica of Blanchard MOSAKA who is shooting towards Zamba playa.
Who benefits from this war?
We are witnessing a war of words as well as excessive personal attacks in which everyone wants to defend his leader at all costs. These spokesmen light the fire whenever they spend in different television shows. They even allow themselves to touch private lives or even their bosses.
Nothing is new under the sun, they say. It’s happening between the two artists, is not a surprising fact in their career. For the observers, they simply want us to revive the scenario lived the day after the dislocation of the Wenge Musica 4 × 4 All-terrain orchestra in 1997.
Indeed, it is recalled that Marshal Mukulu and the King of the Forest lived in total competition for a moment after their separation. It must be remembered that at the time they were famous as two great protagonists in what is known as the “Wenge War” in the history of Congolese music. They were truly engaged in fair competition in the world music sphere.
On the artistic front, this position had created an emulation that allowed everyone in his corner to work hard to win on the stage. Thanks to this controversy, JB Mpiana and Werra have managed to demystify the great mythical shows in Europe and America.
On the social level, Wenge’s war had not only divided music lovers in the world but had even victimized fans. Because of their names, we have experienced damage, deaths of men in society in Kinshasa or elsewhere. Never mind, these two leaders have benefited seriously in terms of assets or material assets. Some people are aware of how much they have earned and organized their family life.
Beyond all, this controversy has allowed everyone to build his reputation to win the place at the continental summit of music.
It was around 2009 that the boss of Wenge BCBG and his colleague from Wenge MM came back to live in harmony. So they thought it best to bury the hatchet, especially since their children are very close.
Polemic without impact
Curiously, they still break their relationship, which, however, was always welcomed by the public. Werra and Piano will resume again with this kind of controversy sending their spokespersons insulting, while the data has changed in the music and especially the age advance. Such wars no longer benefit the advancement of Congolese music that needs competitive artists to defend it on the international stage.
Beyond all, neither JB Mpiana nor Werra takes care to explain in a concrete way the crux of the problem. Meanwhile, it is their emissaries who stammers in front of the viewers. However, observers believe that the time of war is over for these two stars who have crossed another stage of life. In 50 years, they must give up certain things in relation to the education of their children, some of whom have finished their studies and are even preparing to get married.

Defao back to Congo DR after 18-year exile in Kenya
Congolese singer General Defao Matumona has returned to Kinshasa after 18 years of a self-imposed exile in Nairobi.
The crooner returned home last Sunday following the change of government in Congo DR, with the new President Felix Tshisekedi warming up to him.
Defao fled Kinshasa in 2002, the year President Joseph Kabila came to power.
RETURN HOME
The ‘Sala Noki’ hit song composer’s return to Congo followed heightened activity on social media, in which he sang bits of his popular recordings and announced that he was finally getting ready to return home. He said he was making the journey back at the invitation of President Tshisekedi.
In his heyday with his Big Stars Band, Defao recorded many other popular songs including ‘Familie Kikuta’ and ‘Madova’.
In the recent days, there has been a campaign to have Defao, one of the most talented and flamboyant Congolese musicians, in the league of Koffi Olomide, Werrason, JB Mpiana, Nyoka Longo and Papa Wemba, among many others, to return home.
