Senior Jaquez played basketball at Cam High, Moorpark College, and Concordia University in Irvine, California.

He is proud that his son has continued the family tradition. His older kid is an athlete at UCLA, dunking the balls.

He was the one who introduced sports to his son from early age, but he and his wife never forced their kids to choose sports or asked them to perfect one of them. Instead, the passion came naturally to them.

Jaquez Sr told USA Today about how he grew up supporting UCLA just like the Lakers and Dodgers, and it did not feel normal to see him play for the Bruins.

But, he was happy to see the family’s name on his Jersey and is proud to see how far they have come in sports.

Angela is a former basketball player who played high school hoops at Sabino High School in Tucson, Arizona.

She then moved to Pima Community College in Arizona, later finishing at Concordia. Angela found love at the university and settled with her husband while starting a family with him.

She is a mother to three children, and her eldest one, Jaime, who shares the same name as his father, once talked about the values his mom instilled in him. He shared that she showed him how to be kind and treat others how he wanted to be treated. He also added that someday he would get married and have kids and teach them the same thing.

Jaime Jaquez Jr Siblings

Jaquez has two siblings in his Mexican-American decent family. He has a sister Gabriel and a brother Marcos. Similar to their elder brother, both kids of Jaime and Angela, after their first son, also walked in the family’s footsteps.

Gabriel Also Joined UCLA Women Basketball Team

Gabriel joined UCLA for further studies and the college women’s basketball team. She lists Kobe Bryant as her favorite athlete and wants to start her career in WNBA.

Besides playing sports, she loves socializing and hanging out with her friends. Further, as mentioned in her Bruins profile, she always wanted to get the best education by being near her family. Additionally, she also wants them to come and see her matches.

Standing five foot and eleven inches tall, she plays from the center and has received much recognition for her phenomenal performances. Nevertheless, she played in the Nike Nationals championship game, which she takes as her greatest athletic achievement.

After joining the University, she shared the images with her elder sibling wearing the same college basketball uniform. She is on Instagram by the username @gabrielajaquezz.

Marcos Found His Interest In Football

Unlike both of his siblings and parents, Marco found his interest in football over basketball. And no one in the family has ever objected to his choice of sports.

He is a 240 pounds six foot two inches defense lineman from Camarillo. It seems apart from football, he also plays basketball and baseball.

The youngest man in the family seems to be a rising star as he received several recognitions for playing football and basketball. But he does not limit himself to sports. He is a talented kid attending Adolfo Camarillo High School and maintaining a GPA of 3.4.

Marcos sometimes appears on his sibling’s posts but remains away from media reach. He is also not much active on online platforms but will be well-recognized for his sportsmanship and have a bigger fan base.
