Ukrainian-American actress Ivanna Sakhno is well known for portraying Cadet Viktoriya in the 2018 American science fiction monster film Pacific Rim Uprising.
Sakhno began acting at an early age, starring in the 2005 series Lesya + Roma which was the Ukrainian adaptation of the successful Canadian sitcom Un gars, une fille. She then also had a role in television shows including Veskoe osnovanie dlya ubiystva (2009), and Muzhchina dlya zhizni, ili Na brak ne pretenduyu (2008).
At age 16, she immigrated to the United States to pursue her acting career. After landing in the States, she enrolled at Beverly Hills High School and later at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Her first major Hollywood role was in Thomas Dunn’s 2016 thriller film The Body Tree. She followed this with roles in two big-budget 2018 releases, Pacific Rim Uprising and The Spy Who Dumped Me.
