The Russian president’s mother, Vera Nikolaevna Putina, who was born on September 6, 1926, rose to fame in 1999 after pretending to be him. In contrast to this assertion, Putin’s official biography said that his parents passed away before he was elected president.
The Telegraph claims that although Putina’s claims may be untrue or the result of a publicity ploy, they nonetheless show the flaws in the generally accepted explanation of Putin’s ancestry. According to the official narrative, when Putin was born, his parents had already entered their forties; consequently, it had been more than ten years since the births of their earlier sons, Albert and Viktor, who regrettably did not survive through childhood.
In the Kaspi Municipality, 18 kilometers to the east of Gori, is the Georgian village of Metekhi, where Putina called home. She said that the father of Putin is the Russian mechanic Platon Privalov, who had her while he was still married to another lady.
A student named “Vladimir Putin” registered at the Metekhi school in the academic year 1959–1960; according to the records, he was of Georgian ancestry. Putina was under pressure to give up their kid, Putin, from Giorgi Osepahvili, a Georgian soldier whom she married. In December 1960, she returned Vladimir’s nickname “Vova” to his Russian grandparents.
Is Vladimir Putin related to Vera Putina?
Is Vladimir Putin Vera Putina’s son? From 1999 on, Vera Nikolaevna Putina claimed that Vladimir Putin (“Vova”) was her son. She died in May 2023. Contrary to what the woman says, Putin’s official biography notes that his parents passed away before he was elected president.
