The host of “Matty in the morning,” Matty Siegel, is suspected of having an affair with his co-host, Lisa Donovan, as they unexplainably left the show on April 18. However, Siegel returning to the show on Tuesday, announced his retirement from his career.
Seventy-two years Matty had been hosting the legendary show since 1981, and Lisa had joined him as co-host in 2002.
The show had led Siegel to win the National Association of Broadcasters’ Marconi Award for the Personality of the Year in 2001 & 2009. Likewise, he got enlisted in the Massachusetts Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame in 2012.

We are not attempting to withhold anything from anyone. What’s going on has nothing to do with the three of us, and we have no idea what’s going on. “We only know that we’re here to do our jobs.”

Matt Siegel has announced his retirement after talking and healthy discussion with his family. He announced his decision through a pre-recorded message on Tuesday morning.
“I agree with my family that it is time to walk away. I love you guys. ” His words have made the audience emotional.
