Loren Legarda is currently gaining public attention and is in the media headline after her son described that she endorses fascists. Many people are shocked to hear this and are asking if this is true.
To be concerned, Legarda’s son, Lorenzo, wrote an open letter where he mentioned that he was “disgusted” with her conclusion to run under the slate of dictator’s son Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
Apart from that, he also noted how his mother was “endorsing fascists,” a decision he defined as “profoundly unbelievable, immoral, indefensible.” Lorenzo encounters difficulty in terms of his mother’s judgment to run under the Marcos-Duterte slate until now.
Additionally, the young man also highlighted that Loren was a former journalist who saw the horrors of Martial Law and that another Marcos president would be the “end of history.”
Similarly, he also wrote, “My mother is a sample of how fascism takes hold, is made sufficient, normalized, promoted, conducted in.”
