On October 2, 2016, Blockberry Creative announced via Naver that they would be releasing their first girl group following an 18-month pre-debut project.

Jaden Jeong resigned as the group’s creative director in August 2019 due to a creative disagreement with the business.

Between October 2016 and January 2017, four members—HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, and YeoJin—were made public.

Each of the group’s 12 members was progressively revealed over the course of an 18-month pre-debut initiative that began in October 2016 by releasing a promotional track.

They made their debut as a full band with the extended play [+ +] (2018), which was supported by the title track “Hi High” and the lead single “Favorite.”

Following Chuu’s removal in November 2022, the lineup was altered.
