James Lance Bass (May 4, 1979) an American singer, dancer, actor, film, and television producer has revealed he’s been sick for years now. Currently, the talk of the town Bass has come clean about his long-running battle with an illness called psoriatic arthritis.
Diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis five years ago in 2017, he told People magazine that he has been dealing with the illness since way before. He simply thought the pain in his joints and the patch marks were the cause of his long-running dancing and singing career.
Psoriatic arthritis is known to cause swollen fingers and toes, foot pain, lower back pain, nail changes, and eye inflammation.
Nearly 1 million Americans have been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and it is estimated that worldwide these numbers top up to 38 million people.
According to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, “Psoriatic arthritis is a progressive inflammatory of the joints and tendons and ligaments that are attached to the bones (entheses)”
Did James Lance lose weight in the process?
Lance has gone through a weight loss journey and it’s not a side effect of the illness or medication. Using a simple fitness regime he has managed to reduce his weight to 159 pounds.
All he does is 8 minutes of workout for the abs and another 8 minutes for his buns and it’s just that, there is nothing more or less. He often gives the credit for his fit body to his partner, Micheal Turchin, for the encouragement he needed to change his diet to vegetables.
With this simple regime and diet control, the reports say he nearly lost 5-7 pounds.

Cancer rumors surrounding the American Singer Lance Bass
Although the Mississippi-born actor and singer has faced several minor and major health issues, there has been no news of him suffering from anything serious like cancer.
Bass has opened up to having type 2 diabetes and psoriatic arthritis in his life but his healthy diet plans and lifestyle have certainly helped him control his body’s metabolism and bodily functions.
Lance is seen as very fit and happy with his family in most of his heart-whelming Instagram posts.
Recently he came to the highlights and received negative feedback for a now-deleted TikTok video where he hilariously reenacted and mocked part of Amber Heard’s testimony in her ongoing court battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
