Jeff Van Gundy is a prior NBA Coach and an American commentator for ESPN who has been the center of attention from Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final.
Born on January 19, 1962, in Hemet, California was always interested in playing basketball like his father, Bill Van Gundy, and older brother Stanley Alan Van Gundy were former head coaches.
He played basketball at college, but his career as a coach kicked off in the 1985-86 season by coaching Mcquaid Jesuit High School.
Jeff was fired from his position as head coach in 2007 and joined the ESPN broadcast.
