The celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay put out a video on his YouTube channel hinting he is going vegan.
Gordon Ramsay is highly renowned for his exemplary culinary skills. But he is mostly renowned for his unfiltered sarcastic comments on his shows like “The Kitchen Nightmares“, “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Masterchef“.
The internet was going crazy over the rumors of Gordon Ramsay going vegan. The video on his youtube channel and his TikTok post saying he turned vegan had everyone confused.
It’s to everyone’s knowledge that Gordon has always hated vegans and their advocates. So much so that once he tricked a vegetarian to eat meat in his show, Kitchen Nightmares. So, the sudden declaration of Gordon turning vegan shocked everyone.

It seems like Gordon Ramsay is trying the Vegan Challenge on BBC in the TikTok post. Other than the post on TikTok, in January, Gordon started a series in which he shows different ways to enjoy plant-based food in your diet.
This led the fans to question if Gordon has forsaken meat and turned to veganism.
Is Gordon Ramsay Turning Vegan?
All the TikTok posts and his youtube thumbnails hinted at Gordon Ramsay turning vegan. However, it seems like Gordon was trying to take the clickbait way of gaining views from the younger audience. We have debunked the TikTok video on turning vegan for a challenge on BBC.
However, the man who once loathed vegans seems to now have changed his perspective on veganism. Gordon is mostly known for his strong views against veganism and how he once said PETA should be short for People Eating Tasty Animals.
But now, he seems to be enjoying the vegan way of eating and cooking. He has recently been coming out with recipes to introduce plant-based foods into his diet. One of Gordon Ramsay’s popular vegan recipes that got quite the attention was the vegan steak recipe.
Gordon took to youtube to introduce his new vegan steak recipe made with eggplant. The video was quite popular among vegans and people trying to introduce plant-based recipes to their diet. However, it is quite difficult to believe that Gordon Ramsay of all people would turn vegan by choice.
Gordon Ramsay on Veganism
Despite everyone’s disbelief, meat-lover Gordon Ramsay does seem to accept veganism. However, Gordon does not seem to be going into full-blown vegan mode.
According to Delish, Gordon Ramsay has started to change up a few things in his diet. His kids had a huge influence on his change of perspective on the plant-based diet.
Also, as a restauranteur, he began to see the demand for plant-based diet with more people cutting out meat from their diet.
What began as a learning experience for his restaurant and his children, slowly became a passion. Now he has started to drink oat milk, cutting out dairy products from his diet.
We are glad to see Gordon Ramsay is looking at plant-based diet and veganism in a positive light. What’s even better is that Gordon is helping others find a better way to introduce plant-based food into their diet as well.
So, for now, we’re happy Gordon is enjoying his vegan diet just as much as his meat.
