Gary Ridgway, famous as The Green River killer, was suspected of killing 49 victims, but he confessed to murdering 71 victims.

Gary was born on February 18, 1949, in Utah, U.S. He is 72 years old in 2021 October. He was the serial killer ranked second in history.
His victims are more teenaged girls and women in the state of Washington during the 80s and 90s. Most of them were prostitutes as they were easy to captivate.
Others are women under easy circumstances and runaway underage. The police discovered five victims in the Green River before he was convicted.
So they gave the killer a title as “The Green River Killer.” He usually killed them with his bare hand or used ligatures and dumped their bodies in the forest.
Or in the overgrown areas of King County and, he often uses the body for sexual activities. In November 2001, police caught him through DNA matching evidence.
He would remove their jewelry and bury the body of his victim. Green River became his regular dumping site for the people he killed.
After his conviction in 2004, he lived in virtual isolation at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Wash.

Police caught him initially for killing four women. He later agreed to show the locations of still-missing women as part of a plea bargain. His crime was extensive.
Gary has not announced the death penalty but sentences life imprisonment without parole. When he was a kid, he witnessed a commotion between his parents.
His father was a bus driver and involved with sex workers. Gary had been issued of bedwetting till he was 13 years old and, his mother used to wash him off.
Later he expressed his sexual attraction toward his mother along with anger and a tendency to kill her.

Gary Ridgway’s first victim was six years old boy. He stabbed him through the ribs to his liver into the woods when he was 16 years old.
He was married to his girlfriend, who was 19 years old. He joined the United States Navy and, during his military time, he often visited sex workers. His marriage ended in a year.
He married another woman and became religious but, still, he didn’t stop going to sex workers and forced his wife to participate in sexual activity in public.
From 1982 to 1984, he killed most of his victims. He will mostly strangle them to death and, he committed the crimes in his house, truck of secluded area.
