Eddie Munson and Dustin Henderson had an emotional moment in the final episode. They were on a mission together, but when they thought they could not make it, both of them thought of getting back. Just when Dustin gets back from the upside-down, Eddie has a calling to not be a coward and goes forward to save his friends.
Unfortunately, he gets attacked by the bats, and that’s when Dustin returns back to see his friend lying down, fighting for his life. The moment gets really heartbreaking. They express that they love each other and how much they adore each other. Nevertheless, this scene does not justify Eddie being gay in anyway.
