Dylan Dreyer is not leaving the show, Today. Rather her co-stars Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Sheinelle Jones greeted her as she returned from maternity leave on Monday.
When her water broke six weeks early in September 2021, she unexpectedly bid farewell to viewers. Soon after, she and her husband, Brian Fichera, announced the birth of their healthy baby son, Russell “Rusty” James, on October 2.
She shared her picture with the co-anchors announcing her return to the show. She captioned an emotional message stating how much she missed getting back to work.
