Courtland Sutton, an American football wide receiver with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL), was born on October 10, 1995.

In the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Broncos selected him out of SMU’s football program.

Sutton played high school football while attending Brenham High School in Brenham, Texas.

As a senior, he was selected to the second team as a safety and the first team as a tight end for the district.

Brenham had a 14-2 record at the end of the 2013 campaign but fell to Aledo in the UIL 4A Division 2 state final.

Sutton, who ESPN rated as a three-star player, chose Southern Methodist University over offers from BYU, Colorado, and Rice.
