Is Arman Tsarukyan Muslim? Nationality & Religion Of The Boxer

Russian-Armenian mixed martial artist Arman Tsarukyan participates in the lightweight division. He has a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship right now (UFC).

Arman is ranked #11 in the UFC lightweight standings as of May 16, 2022.

On September 25, 2015, Tsarukyan faced Shamil Olokhanov in his mixed martial arts debut and prevailed through a technical knockout in the opening frame.

The mixed martial artist was knocked out in the first round in his subsequent battle with Alexander Belikh.

Arman carried on competing for mixed martial arts organizations throughout Russia and Asia, winning his subsequent 12 matches by submission, including a victory over Belikh in the first round to exact revenge for his earlier defeat.

Before agreeing to a four-fight contract with the UFC, he amassed a 13-1 record.

On February 26, 2022, at UFC Fight Night 202, Tsarukyan squared off against Joel Lvarez. In the second round, he TKO’d the opponent using ground and pound. Tsarukyan received his second consecutive performance of the Night bonus award thanks to the victory as well.

Is Arman Tsarukyan Muslim? Nationality & Religion Of The Boxer

Although Arman Tsarukyan is a Muslim, he has not publicly declared his religion.

The famous boxer was born on October 11, 1996, in Akhalkalaki, Georgia. He belongs to the Armenian-Russian Nationality as he was born.

Arman looks like a typical Muslim male. He has thick black hair and a beard. He also has dark, black eyes and a buff jacked figure. The strong fighter is 5’9″ tall and roughly 70 kg in weight.

We cannot be positive whether he is Muslim or not, though, because he is from a country where Christianity is the predominant religion, like Armenia and Georgia.

A few Muslim fighters compete in the UFC as well, with Khabib Nurmagomedov being the most well-known. He has left a long legacy for the Muslim-Russian fighter in the sport.

The well-known boxer’s debut match in the UFC was against a student of Khabib. Arman is cautious and stays away from insults, unlike Khabib and his teammates in the sport who are loud about their faith.

Given that the Armenian-Russian mixed martial artist has only suffered two defeats in 20 matches, the majority of this sum would have come from his MMA career. During his career in the UFC, he also received some sizable bonuses.

There isn’t a lot of information accessible on Tsarukyan’s pay-per-fight, though.

In contrast, the 25-year-old received $100,000 for his most recent performance (half basic salary, half win bonus), as well as $50,000 for Performance of the Night.
