How to wash a baseball hat

Place the hat into the washer (alone or with a smaller load of laundry so it doesn’t lose its shape) with a mild detergent and wash with warm water on a gentle cycle. Let the hat air dry, with the hat form or head mold if necessary, or hang it up!

If the hat is stained, use a prewash. Then toss the cap in the washer and wash gently in cold water. Drying: NEVER put your hat in the dryer unless you plan to give it to your tiny-craniumed nephew, Chuckie. No matter how you wash it, let the hat air dry.

Try Vinegar and Water

A water and vinegar solution can work very well for sweat stains on white and colored fabrics. The solution should be a mix of one tablespoon of white vinegar per cup of cold water. Soak the affected area in the solution for about 30 minutes and then launder as normal in your washing machine.

Use lemons to get those stains away by scrubbing the area with a mix of equal pats water and lemon juice. Remove that sweaty stain by dabbing it with a half-strength solution of ammonia and water before the wash. Cold water. Before washing, try rubbing the stained armpit area with cold water.

A baking soda paste can be useful in banishing sweat stains and odors on clothing. Rub the paste onto the stained area of the clothing before laundering. Tough stains may need to let the paste sit for one to two hours. Once again, the baking soda also works to absorb any odors from the clothing that may be lingering.

→ If stains are rather mild – just slight discoloration of the fabric – undiluted white vinegar will probably solve the problem. Turn the shirt inside out and douse the underarm area with full-strength white vinegar. Completely soak the area and let it set for a few minutes up to an hour.

Soak Out the Stain

Mix one cup vinegar with two cups of water & let your garment soak for 20 minutes. Next, mix ½ cup baking soda with a tablespoon each of salt & hydrogen peroxide to form a paste. Wring out your tee & rub! Toss it into a load of whites & voila!

Less body odor

Underarm sweat has a direct link to body odor (BO) since it’s the result of bacteria breaking sweat down. When you remove hair under the armpits, it reduces trapped odor. A 2016 study involving men found that removing armpit hair by shaving significantly reduced axillary odor for the following 24 hours.

These glands release a milky fluid when you are stressed and are odorless until they come into contact with a bacteria then they create odor. Hair is particularly prone to trapping bacteria, which is why men are more likely to smell even after showering.
