Is the P silent in raspberry?
The word Raspberry has been mispronounced for far too long. Its time to formally recognize that there is no Z in the word and that pronouncing it as “Razberry” is absurd. The P is not silent, and should be clearly pronounced.

The ‘p‘ is silent, just like pneumonia and receipt. I think most people actually pronounce it more like raz (with a ‘z’ sound) berry (but I could be wrong on that point).
