How to make a poll on instagram

To create a poll, tap on the Sticker icon (the square with the face) at the top of the Story screen and select the Poll sticker option. Find the Poll feature in the Sticker option in the Story screen. The option to add your question and a Yes/No poll box will appear.

To ask a multiple–choice question, all you have to do is create a Story, add the Quiz sticker from the sticker tray, and fill in the question and answers. After that, select the correct answer from the provided options and share the Story.

So, Are the Polls Anonymous or Not? To put it shortly- No, they aren’t. While many people were outraged that their opinions would be so unsubtly shown to the person who asked for them, the main idea of the Instagram crew that installed the feature wasn’t to expose the people’s identities or anything.

To see your own poll results, swipe up to open the viewers list for that part of your story. There you’ll see everything you need to get the best answer for your question. Not only will you see how many votes each option received, but you’ll also see who voted and what option they chose.

The bad news? They aren’t. Instagram sends the user a notification every time someone votes, and you can see who’s voted for what. I presume everyone thought that it’d be anonymous because Twitter’s polls have spoiled us.
