Hyper 212 Series – AMD Installation
- Remove the OEM mounting bracket from the motherboard.
- Place the back plate on board as shown Below.
- Place the standoffs through the board from the top and secure them with a nut as shown below.
- Attach the cooler to the CPU Socket.
- Connect the Fan.
- Connect Fan to the motherboard CPU Fan.

You don’t need to remove everything. Remove the stock fan. Get some isopropyl alcohol should be some in a first aid kit if you have that and remove the thermal paste. The Hyper 212 EVO comes with pre applied thermal/and or comes with a tube of thermal just mount the cooler and you are good to go.
