How do I set up AutoCal?
Quick Setup
- Select the [F6: Quick Setup] option in the left-hand pane.
- Edit FlashScan or AutoCal Device Settings as required. NOTE: Refer to Device Settings for SD card and Wideband configurations.
- Select appropriate BBX Quick Setup options.
- Add tune files to the Quick Setup using the green ‘+’ icon.
What is EFI Live AutoCal?
The EFILive AutoCal V3 is now available. EFILive’s AutoCal device is intended to provide a convenient platform for professional tuners to distribute custom tunes to their customers. And for their customers to collect and submit logged data back to the tuner for analysis.
How do I connect to EFI live?
Connecting EFI Live to your truck is pretty straightforward. You just need to connect the OBDII plug to the OBDII port on your truck. You do want to be connected directly to the computer, so if you are running a bypass or anything else, you should remove it first.
What are the 5 tunes on EFI live?
It includes 5 custom tunes for a DSP5 switch so that you can switch between tunes while driving. Our tunes are opt.stock, tow (w/ turbo braking), street, hot and race. Please specify in the stated area if you want any other specific tunes.

Does EFI Live come with tunes?
EFILive is just a software that takes the ECM parameters and enables “you” or a “tuner”(person that manipulates the parameters) to change them and flash them back into the ECM. EFILive does not build performance tunes or even tune them selfs. The only provide the software.
Can you still buy EFI live?
The Controller Authorization process has been retired. This product is no longer available. The EFILive April 2021 public release software (or later) now manages this process.
Is EFI Live software free?
Since the software is available for free on the EFILive website, what you are really purchasing is the license and the hardware.
What does EFI Live do?

Can you put EFI live on a Powerstroke?

What do I need to run EFI live?
Efi live is a P/C based flash scan tuner. Yes you need a laptop or P/C. All progamers have the pottential to hurt your tranny if you run them on the higher levels.

How do I add music to my EFI live?
Open the EFI Live V8 Explorer Program (icon will be on your Desktop). On the “F3: Data Files” tab it should have an EFILive folder, Scan folder, Tune folder, and Read folder (just to the right of the multi-colored triangle at the bottom left of the window). Now click on the ‘Tune Folder’.
Is EZ Lynk EFI live?
Yes. You can SOTF with both EZ Lynk and EFI Live. Unless you plan on many future modifications where tuning changes will be needed, then EFI Live will suit you. Just a personal preference honestly.
Is MM3 a good tuner?
MM3 is a good match if; You have never unlocked the PCM and you do not own EFILive hardware already. There is a bit of savings to be had if you are starting fresh when you select the MM3. The process is a little slower as you have to read a stock file which is then emailed to your tuner.

Is MotorOps tuning good?
The tuning is awesome and even with the hiccups of the LML tuning options, MotorOps is constantly fine tuning these tunes. Customer Service is top notch, actually the best I have ever experinced in my 36 years on this earth. Steve always has the customer at the top of his list.
What is optimized Stock tune?
Optimized Stock: Stock power level, refined timing and fuel curve strategy for mileage. When used in conjunction with a lift pump, this tune will get the most fuel possible out of the factory CP4 pump. Typical gains with a lift pump are in the 530 to 540 RWHP range on deleted trucks.
