Go to http://cancel.aol.com and log in to your account.
Answer your Account Security Question.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the Manage My Services & Subscriptions page, click Cancel.
Note: you can reactivate within 6 months after deleting it. To do this, just sign in on the AOL homepage and follow the instructions.
