How to cancel clear membership

Membership is good for one calendar year, starting from the date of enrollment. So if you’re debating whether you should jump on the CLEAR train now, it might be best to wait until at least your next flight, so that you can maximize your time.

You may terminate your Free Membership and request the removal of your personal information from CLEAR’s databases by emailing your request to, memberservices@clearme.com or by contacting CLEAR’s customer service group at 1-855-CLEARME (253-2763) or through our chat function.

Advantages of having both TSA Precheck and Clear

Here are a few more advantages to having both Precheck and Clear: TSA Precheck only allows you to expedite your airport security experience, but Clear can speed up your entry into airports, stadiums and venues.

Clear is a fantastic app, but some of its sound effects are just downright annoying. We can’t leave our phone’s sound on because the signature “Clear” sound (when you clear out a bunch of items you’ve completed) is just too embarrassing to hear in public. The rest of the sounds effects in the app are brilliant.

Bottom Line

There’s no denying that CLEAR is expensive. But considering how easy it is to substantially cut that cost, it could easily be worth it. You’ll never find a quicker way to get through TSA security checkpoints than by using CLEAR.

If something is clear it is known as transparent. This measn that instead of reflecting light light just passes straight through it. Clear isn’t really a colour – if something is clear it doesn’t absorb or reflect any light – for something to have a colour it must absorb and/or reflect light.

That’s not a color because by definition it is the absence of opacity. It’s not only not a color, it’s totally orthogonal to colors. Any color can be “clear”, meaning transparent or translucent, or opaque, meaning the opposite.

A material is clear when it lets all (or some?) light pass through it unaffected. absorb some wavelengths of light and reflect other wavelengths of light. You could start with a clear substance and add a small amount of color to it and get a see-through but colored substance, which I think can still be called “clear”.

The color you see is the only color reflected. If almost all light is absorbed we see black, if almost all light is transmitted we see a transparent object. Colors appear on the electromagnetic spectrum. There’s ROYGBIV and then it fades into the unseen spectrum.

The water is in fact not colorless; even pure water is not colorless, but has a slight blue tint to it, best seen when looking through a long column of water. The blueness in water is not caused by the scattering of light, which is responsible for the sky being blue.

When you have a 6 digit color code e.g. #ffffff, replace it with #ffffff00. Just add 2 zeros at the end to make the color transparent. 0.5 is more like semi-transparent, changing the value from 0.5 to 0 gave me true transparency. #0000ffff – that is the code that you need for transparent.

The color of a transparent object depends on the color of light it transmits. If green light passes through a transparent object, the emerging light is green; similarly if red light passes through a transparent object, the emerging light is red. Materials like frosted glass and some plastics are called translucent.

Art Spectrum^®Lemon Yellow is a strong, semi-transparent yellow. Lemon Yellow appears cool, with a bluish hue that is based on the yellow of the lemon.
