Chicago Blackhawks center Jujhar Khiara has been taken to the hospital to conduct some tests to determine the extent of his injury.
The Ice Hockey player, Jujhar Khaira, hails from Canada. He is currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
His fans are concerned for his health as he was stretchered off the ice after a collision with Jacob Trouba of Rangers.

He shared that the player has woken up and is responsive. He has been talking, but he is still admitted to the hospital. He has already done some tests, but there are a few more to be done to know the extent of his injury.
It is a scary situation to see, but some encouraging news as well, he mentioned. Nevertheless, it is not the first time he has suffered from this situation. According to Sports Net, he has a history of experiencing head injuries in his NHL career.
The first time was from a stemming fight with Brett Ritchie, a forward of Calgary Flames. And, another one was because of the hit by Alexander Romanov, a defense of the Montreal Canadiens.
What Happened To Jujhar Khaira?
Jujhar Khaira was injured during the match on Tuesday. He was hit in the second period while the Blackhawks attempted to skate the puck out of their zone.
He was trying to receive a pass when Trouba collided with him with a powerful hit that knocked him down. At that point, his head appeared to make contact with the ice.

Khaira remained down for several moments, and it is unclear whether he lost consciousness at that time. After the hit, a minor altercation broke out between the Rangers and the Blackhawks while medical workers raced to Khaira. However, the crowd dispersed quickly.
Several players from both teams stood and watched as Khaira was carried off the ice on a stretcher, with some appearing to give words of encouragement or signs of support.
