As the co-anchor for ABC News testifies in her mother Joanie Robach’s culinary blog, “My Keto Home.”
Amy is quite close to her family and loves spending time with them. Her husband, Andrew Shue, whom she has been married to since 2010, was also there at the game.
She and her mother have shared three keto-friendly family favorites below.
How Old Is Amy Robach Mother Joanie Robach?
Joanie Robach was born and raised in Michigan in the 1950s-1960s as the fourth of nine children; however, her exact date of birth is not yet revealed.
She has two daughters and eight grandchildren, and she and her high school sweetheart, Mike, recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. They now call Braselton, Georgia home.
Her work history includes anything from home builder to web show co-host to English instructor. She was raised by a Southern mama known for her culinary prowess. She cooked dinner for eleven children every night.
Their carb-heavy meals included potatoes, rice, noodles, pasta, and bread. Her mother cooked incredible pastries.
She was always hungry, and she had to eat something high in carbs every few hours, or I’d feel weak – and HUNGRY! Her eating habits remained the same for over 64 years.
Does Amy Robach Mother Also Have A Keto Diet?
In July 2017, Joanie Robach began a strict Keto diet with no more than 20 net carbs per day. Even though weight loss was not my aim, I lost a solid 12 pounds and now only fluctuate by a pound or two. Mike has slimmed down by 15 pounds.
After a year, we switched to a modified Keto diet, staying between 50 and 100 net carbohydrates per day. She eats 2-3 healthy meals per day and snacks as needed. The difference is that now she eats and doesn’t get hungry.
She has the heart of a teacher. She enjoys sharing what she’s learned, including my blunders, and hopes you’ll find this blog helpful and inspiring. Welcome to My Keto Home, where you’ll always be treated as a family member.
Amy Robach’s Father Is Never Seen In The Media
Amy was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Joanie Robach and her father. Despite moving to St. Louis, Missouri, she grew up in East Lensing. Robach moved to Georgia with her family for high school and college.
She is the cousin of former Nashville Star contestant Matt Lindahl. Her aunt and uncle are also performing arts teachers at her high school. Amy’s father, on the other hand, is unknown.
