How Much Money Does Tom Fitton Make? Latest Tom Fitton Net Worth Income Salary

Thomas J. “Tom” Fitton is an activist from the United States. He is the President of Judicial Watch, a “conservative, educational foundation,” as he describes it. He’s worked for America’s Voice and National Empowerment Television, the International Policy Forum, the Leadership Institute, and Accuracy in Media, among other organisations. He was also a talk radio and television host in the past. Judicial Watch has been led by Fitton since August 1998. Judicial Watch’s mission statement states that the organisation aims to promote government integrity, transparency, and accountability, as well as adherence to the rule of law. The organization’s mission is primarily accomplished by obtaining access to government records, filing Freedom of Information Act and other public records act lawsuits, engaging in other forms of civil litigation, and pursuing a variety of other actions aimed at increasing public pressure on government agencies and public officials. Judicial Watch’s former Chairman, Larry
Klayman, attempted to recover control of the group in 2006 by suing Fitton, the organisation, and the organization’s other executives and directors. In 2009, the majority of Klayman’s claims were dismissed, including all of his claims against Fitton and Judicial Watch’s other executives and directors. After a jury found George Zimmerman not guilty in the death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, in July 2013, Fitton gained widespread attention for judicial watch in conservative media when he claimed in numerous interviews that the Obama administration’s Department of Justice had sent representatives to Sanford in the aftermath of Martin’s death “to help organise and manage rallies.” Fitton’s assertion was graded “largely false” by Politicfact Florida, a fact-checking project sponsored by the “Tampa Bay Times.” Fitton was revealed as a prominent member of Groundswell, a hidden coalition of right-wing activists and journalists working behind the scenes to effect radical political change, which gathered in the headquarters of Judicial Watch in July 2013. Fitton, as the head of Judicial Watch, has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of Dr. Larry Kawa and his orthodontics clinic against the Obama administration. The case was dismissed by a federal district court and is now before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals for review.
