As per Riley, the decision to leave OU was perhaps the most difficult decision of his life as OU offered one of the best college football programs in the country.
Admitting OU’s immense history, Riley finally concluded that another coach replacing him won’t affect the rich history of OU.
He also stated that ” I felt like it was the right opportunity for my family and me to do that.”
Nevertheless, Riley left OU with endearing memories, and his love for the university and the people will never be lost.
