This was one of the crew’s earlier projects. The materials for the cabin were taken from two 1800s log cabins in Kentucky and West Virginia.

3. The Sheriffs Cabin
It is located in the Timber Ridge Community of Gatlinburg. The materials were reclaimed from a Tyler County farm in West Virginia.
The cabin was built in 2021 by Barnwood Builders as shown on DITY Network (Season 12, Episode 8: Smoky Mountain Magic).
The cabin is available to book for $201 per night with 1 bedroom, 3 beds, and 1 bath, among other facilities.

4. Melton’s View
This 20’x 26′ cabin was built by Mark & Rhonda Carter. It was reclaimed from Larry Melton in Bulls Gap, Tennessee.
It was rebuilt by the Carter family in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The cabin is available to book for $329 per night with 1 bedroom, and 2+ bathrooms, and is available for four people.

5. Carter Cabin
This cabin was built by Mark and Karen for the Carter family in Tennessee. It featured in Season 5, Episode 4 “Out of the Ashes.”
The 20’x30′ four-sided cabin was created with hand-selected, ancient, hand-hewn beams.
The final design was done by Karen Tillary, who transformed the vintage cabin damaged by the devastating wildfire in Tennessee.

6. Four Fillies Lodge
The lodge is two cabins, and one timber frame pavilion look at home. Situated on the ideal 78 acres in the Barnwood crew’s background.
The cabin is built by Mark Bowe. It is available as a rental cabin with a pleasant country venue.

7. Canyon of the Ancients
Canyon of the Ancients is one of Mark’s all-time preferred places. The 18’x24′ sized cabin was built by Yuri.
The Barnwood Builders crew found the owner helpful while exploring the cabin and didn’t want to return soon.
The house represents an example of mixing different angles and materials to create a building that fits in any environment.
