Brandon Miller is a professional college basketball player. Prior to his rookie year at Alabama, Miller was selected to the Julius Erving Award and Naismith College Player of the Year watch lists.
Miller was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Week for the first time on November 21, 2022.
Miller would have a difficult NCAA Tournament, shooting only 19% from the field in Alabama’s three games, the lowest percentage by any player with 35 shot attempts since 1985.
Despite Miller’s 3-19 shooting from the floor, Alabama would lose to San Diego State in the third round of the tournament.
After the campaign, Miller declared he will skip the rest of his collegiate eligibility and declare for the 2023 NBA draft instead.
