Authenticity in Squid Game’s Linguistic Landscape
In Squid Game, Ali’s fluency in Korean is a pivotal element that adds authenticity to the narrative. However, some elements, such as Ali’s family living with him in a small Korean apartment, might be less realistic, Pamiri notes.
