Shane Martin Deported Details
Shane Martin was deported to New Zealand in the year 2016 under Australia’s controversial Immigration Act.
Previously, for more than 25 years, Martin lived in Australia, and according to the reports, he had made several attempts to return and be with his son but was denied entry due to his membership in the Rebels’ motorcycle club.
Similarly, Martin even claimed that he had left the Rebels’ motorcycle club before being deported.
Having been apart from his father for several years, in April this year, during the Australia and New Zealand travel bubble, Dustin was allowed to see his father.
Prior to that, in March, during an interview with Nick Riewoldt, Dustin Martin, the three-time Norm Smith medalist, said he hoped his dad would watch him play in the grand final personally.
