Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth was born on October 25, 1993, in Southwark, London, England to a Brazilian mother and a Canadian father. She is also known by the alias Brush Cut.
She started going to film auditions at the age of 16, and after completing sixth grade, she landed her first job in Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, where she co-starred with Willem Dafoe.
Later on, she portrayed Sophie Campbell in the criminal drama series The Tunnel on Sky Atlantic, and she also had an appearance in the opening short film Magpie, which was directed by Stephen Fingleton.
