Hilary Farr’s Bio (Age)

Hilary Farr was born as Hilary Elizabeth Labow on August 31, 1951, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. However, she was brought up in London, UK by her parents. As a young girl, Farr was interested in many things, including athletics, acting, and home design. She came to love the latter due to the influence of her mother whom she watched and helped design their childhood home.

Farr played netball (an alternative to basketball) for women mostly in the UK). In addition, she is an accomplished diver and swimmer. She began her career as an interior designer before moving to Los Angeles, where she began buying and renovating properties. Later, she studied an interior design course at Ryerson University in Toronto.

In August of 2005, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was sworn in as the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Ahmadinejad entered the political arena after the Islamic Revolution of 1979. He joined the Revolutionary Guard and reportedly worked covert operations in the ’80s during Iran’s war with Iraq. After four years as a provincial governor (1993-97), Ahmadinejad became a lecturer at Tehran’s University of Science and Technology. He was subsequently elected as mayor of Tehran in 2003. He was not well known internationally until June of 2005, when he won Iran’s presidential election.
