Ajay Kumar, well known by the stage names Undapakru and Guinness Pakru, is a well-known Malayalam comic actor. The Guinness Book of Records has recognised him as the world’s smallest actor (standing at 2 feet 6 inches (76 cm)) to perform a leading role in a feature film. Albhutha Dweep, a Malayalam film directed by Vinayan, featured him in the title character.
The film was subsequently dubbed in Tamil and released in theatres. Albutha Dweep, in which he played dwarf prince Gajendra of the kingdom Vamanapuri on a fantasy island where the males were cursed to be dwarfs while the ladies were of normal height, was a hit with critics and audiences. There were about 300 dwarfs who appeared in the film. Guninness Pakru made his directorial debut in 2013 with the film Kutteem Kolum, which was also his first feature film.
