Formula One engineer Guillaume ‘Rocky’ Rocquelin was born on 1st August 1974, making him 47 years old. Growing up in Dijon, France, he specializes in motorsports, engineering, and racing.

After getting his degree in engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, he came to the states to work as an engineer in CA for PacWest and worked closely with numerous athletes. 

In 2008, things took a turn after he entered David Coulthard‘s team as an engineer and served under him for five years before getting inducted to Sebastian Vettel.

Despite the heavy work, he looks after both racers for the Red Bull Racing as he has a place on the engineering team of both athletes.

Despite being French, he initiated his career in the states as the chief engineer of R & D for Reynard Racing Cars Limited. He worked there for four years before leaving the company to join Newman/ Haas Racing in 2002 as a senior race engineer.

After working there for four years, he joined the Red Bull Racing and got inducted as the head of race engineering and has operated there for a decade.
