Since the time he was a young boy, Dickow felt like he was missing one thing. “I was lonely from the time I can remember. Love was a far off word to me. no one ever said, ‘I love you.’” He began a groundwork for purpose in life when a preferred highschool friend unexpectedly committed suicide.
Gregory says, “It simply perplexed me. It shocked me, and that I said to myself, ‘Man, I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m not on the squad. And, I’m not standard. I’m not smart trying. I don’t have something that he had going for him, and he killed himself. What will happen to stop me from doing an equivalent thing?’ That began a groundwork in my heart for a reason to measure. I started a groundwork to fill the emptiness that was waking up inside of me.

He explained that, Every time he did one thing, whether or not it had been getting drunk or high, it was simply not enough. Gregory could leave faculty when fourth-hour amount, get through for mealtime, get drunk and return to high school fully intoxicated. Each day they might get with my friends after studies. They might get high with marijuana typically more durable medicine hard drug and acid.
Gregory worked with a Christian at an area restaurant. The Christian detected that he wasn’t doing the items they were doing. He wasn’t talking like they were talking. Gregory wasn’t following the items they were supposed to be pursuing, however, he had this peace. He had this calm, and he was cool. His friend at the Christian restaurant invited Gregory to a home Bible study.

“For the primary time in my life, I felt peace. I felt idolised,” he remembers. “They weren’t making an attempt to criticise my state. He met people that wished to point out him the love of God in associate degree unconditional means. He said, ‘Look at this scripture,’ and he showed my state the primary scripture I ever saw within the Bible, one John 1:9: ‘If you confess your sins, he’s devoted and simply to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all immorality.’
Gregory knew in his heart that he used to be lost. He used to be while not God. He used to be empty, and that he knew he used to be an evildoer. Gregory felt this peace at first then I felt this war inside my mind. Pastor Gregory says it had been a religious war that was happening for his future, destiny and his eternity. Gregory prayed with the person that God would forgive his sins. Before going away, a lady gave him a Bible.
Gregory found his line of work teaching and preaching concerning the love of God that modified his life therefore dramatically. His book, the ability to alter these days, tells the story of however God’s love created him into a replacement man.
