Greece visa requirements for Laotians

• The Greek tourist visa is a visa issued to Foreigners who intend to visit Greece for visitation or recreational purposes. 
• A passport issued within the previous 10 years with three months validity after the date of exit from Greece. 
• The passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamps. 
• A completed and signed Greece tourist visa application form. 
• A recently taken passport photograph should be glued to the visa application form. 
• Applicants should note that application form with a stapled photograph will be rejected. 
• Bank or credit card statements not more than three months to show proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of stay in Greece. 
• Travel itinerary. 
• Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in Greece. 
• An invitation letter from a friend or family in Greece. The letter must be signed by the person inviting you and notarized by the appropriate authorities in Greece. 
• Travel insurance worth € 30,000 stating that you are covered in case of a medical emergency in Greece and in the Schengen areas. 

• The Greek student visa is a visa issued to foreigners who have been offered admission into an educational institution in Greece. 
• Laotians who wish to study in a learning institution in Greece can apply for the Greek student visa. 
• A valid Laotian passport with at least two blank visa pages is required. 
• Two recently taken passport photograph taken against a white background. 
• Travel insurance worth € 30,000 stating that you are covered in case of a medical emergency in Greece and in the Schengen areas.
• A cover letter stating your purpose of visit to Greece. The cover letter should be convincing enough for the consular to belive. 
• Admission or acceptance letter from a school in Greece. 
• Proof of financial status to cover your duration of stay in Greece. 
• Sponsored applicants are expected to show the recent bank statement of their sponsor or affidavit to show that they are willing to your expenses while studying in Greece. 
• Applicants on scholarship are required to show proof of scholarship. 
• Proof of flight reservation, This should contain the flight name, departure date, and time and flight number. 
• Criminal records from the police of the applicant’s home country. This should state that you have not been convicted of any criminal offenses.

  Greek business visa is issued to
  Laotians
  traveling to Greece with the intention of engaging in business
  meetings,
  conferences or trade fairs.

• An
  invitation letter from the host company in Greece is required. The letter should be written in both Greek and English.

• The
  invitation letter should contain the company’s address, the purpose of the applicant’s visit and the dates of the applicant’s visit.

• Laotians
  in Greece on a business visa can attend
  and participate in trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars
  relating to their profession.

• Foreigners
  visiting the country to attend a conference should provide an
  invitation letter from the company or authorized body to attend
  events connected with trade.

• Applicants
  of this visa must provide a
  clean police record stating that the applicant is free from any
  criminal offense.

• A
  letter from the applicant’s employer stating the applicant’s
  current
  job
  position, salary level and length of employment should be provided.
  The
  letter should state that the employer gives consent to the employee’s travel.

• Proof
  of previous business dealings between the Greek company and the
  Laotian company (if any).

• Business
  bank statement for the latest six months.

• A
  Certificate of Business Incorporation as
  well as a memorandum and article of association of
  a company in Greece is required.

• Either
  the employer or the partner company in Greece must state coverage
  of expenses that the applicant may incur while in Greece.

• Proof
  of accommodation.

• Travel
  itinerary.

• Proof
  of flight return/ onward ticket.
