Evidently, LaSalle police officers had discovered her body in her home on the morning of March 19 in the 1400 block of Sugarwood Crescent.
Officers had apparently attended the address around 7:30 a.m. so as to check on the well-being of its occupants that day.
Following the discovery of her body, police quickly launched a homicide investigation, with the suspect identified as the woman’s husband.
Amidst the investigation, they explored that the suspect’s pickup truck was found that morning abandoned on the Ambassador Bridge.
On top of that, they also came across the evidence that the prime suspect, her husband had jumped from the bridge into the Detroit River.
Collective efforts for searching were made which involved Windsor police, LaSalle firefighters, and Canadian Coast Guard members.
All the aforementioned authorities worked through a collective search effort with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton.
LaSalle police have urged the neighbors, in fact, everyone to respect the privacy of her family during this very difficult time in their lives.
Currently, it has been unveiled that the children are being cared for by their grandparents on their mother’s side, with support from their aunts.
