Early Life & Background

The actress whose name “Nadia” generally means hope was born to a Ghanaian mother and Lebanese father.

She hails from Sekondi-Takoradi in the western region of Ghana and also have five siblings namely; Malik Buari, Shaida Buari, Jeed Rogers, Jameel Buari and Ayshay Buari.

However, it was revealed that Nadia Buari’s mother originally had her for a white man out of wedlock but later married Alhaji Sidiku Buari, a musician and producer  who adopted Nadia legally.

For her education, the actress obtained a BFA degree in performing arts at the Univeristy of Ghana.

Career

Nadia Buari started her acting career in 2005 while appearing on the Ghanaian national television with the tv series “Games People Play”.

She got her first major role in the movie “Mummy’s daughter” but came to limelight after starring in the movie “President’s daughter” where she played the role of Beyonce.

The beautiful actress was able to find a major breakthrough in the Nollywood movie industry in 2008 after starring in the movie “Beyonce & Rihanna” as Beyonce alongside Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who played the role of Rihanna.

Ever since then, she has featured in over 50 Nollywood and Ghallywood movies including Rough Rider, Beauty and the Beast and many others.

She also came through with her own movie productions for the film “Diary of Imogen Brown”.

Personal Life

The actress dated nollywood actor Jim Iyke innJanuary 2014 but it was made official after the actor proposed to her on 21 March 2014.

She had a set of twin girls while dating Jim Iyke but it was rumoured that Jim Iyke is not the father of her duaghter but belongs to a Dutch.

The actress had also dated Ghanaian star footballer, Michael Essien but the two went their seperated ways after it was revealed that the footballer is married to another woman.
