Gareth Anscombe is a 31-year-old rugby union player from Auckland, New Zealand.
Known for participating in rugby union competitions for Wales, he is also the son of Mark Anscombe, a former coach for Ulster and Auckland.
His birth name is Gareth William Anscombe. The 6-foot-tall athlete earned the most points at the IRB Junior World Championship in 2011 and kept his spot on the Auckland team.

Gareth Anscombe has returned to play for Wales following a protracted recovery from an ACL injury. However, he still makes compromises to achieve his goals.
He didn’t start jogging again until January 2021, picked up goalkicking again in May, and then began playing for the Ospreys in September. Finally, in October against New Zealand, he wore the Wales shirt again.

Since August 2019, when Anscombe suffered an ACL injury during a World Cup warm-up match against England, he has had the playmaker in his sights.

Second keyhole surgery was performed in December 2019, and then an osteotomy, a more invasive technique, was performed on July 7 2020.

Milica Anscombe is mostly known for her marriage to the Wales fly-half rugby player Gareth Anscombe.
