Gabe Newell Half-Life 3
In June 2019, during the Valve Index launch party, newell taunted Half-Life fans about Half-Life 3. He was talking about how one thing leads to another. He said, “Half-Life led to Half-Life 2, Source led to Source 2, TeamFortress 2 led to Dota, and Artifact is why they were able to do Underlords.
“Maybe someday, the number two will lead us to that shiny integer glowing on the mountain someplace.”
The statement was, however, unclear because he could have been referring to L4D 3, or Dota 3, or Portal 3 in the sense that they all don’t do 3’s.
