Frank Twomey’s Cause of Death

Twomey, who died following an illness, has been remembered fondly in Cork and beyond. Long-time collaborator Packie O’Callaghan told the Neil Prendeville show on Cork’s Red FM that he would always put a “bounce in your step”

Wife

Despite being a well-known figure in the entertainment world, Twomey has been successful in keeping the details of his personal life quite private. Interestingly, he has opted not to share any information about his wife, keeping her name and other details under wraps. This intentional choice has added an element of mystery to Twomey’s life beyond the screen.

Children

There is no information regarding Frank Twomey’s kids. It is not known if he has kids or not. He became synonymous with Everyman Palace productions each festive season – and reveled in his role each Christmas as the panto dame.

Twomey’s career stretched over five decades and in recent years he mainly worked with RTÉ’s Lifeline program.
