Finn Balor’s Bio & Age
Balor, whose real name is Fergal Devitt, was born on July 25, 1981 in Bray, Ireland. In his family, there are 4 other siblings; 3 brothers and a sister.
Growing up, Finn Balor attended St. Cronan’s School in Bray where he played football on his school’s team. Around this time, the Irish kid was taking a liking to wrestling and getting involved in the sport so that he became a first degree black belt holder in IBF subject wrestling. He was a fan of World of Sport and the British Bulldogs, Rick Rude, and Mr. Perfect, along with two other people who were worth their salt at the time.
Wrestling career
As he got older he became resolute in wrestling which was what he wanted to do with his life and to do this Finn Balor started training with NWA UK Hammerlock and made his debut in the year 2000 at the age of 18. He went on to win the NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship. In 2006, however, he lost the title to Karl Anderson.
He signed a contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling(NJPW) later in 2006, but suffered a poor run of events in the months that followed. In August 2007, Finn formed a tag team with Minoru who joined RISE stable as “Prince Prince” and won the IWGP Junior Team Tag Team Championship by Weight. in July only to lose again at “No Limit”.
Finn Balor formed another tag team called “Apollo55” which became one of the most successful tag teams ever formed after winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship 4 times and successfully defending it 7 times. January 2010 marks the beginning of a series of victories in his career. as Apollo 55, they won and retained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship multiple times, while repeating the same feat for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. He became the first wrestler in 2013 to simultaneously hold the IWGP Junior Heavyweight and IWGP Heavyweight Championships, as well as the “Bullet Cub” tag team.
Come May 15, 2014, the Irish-born wrestler signed with WWE and joined NXT for his debut on October 23, featuring Itami in a match against Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel which ended in victory for them. Finn won the NXT Championship title at NXT TakeOver: London having defeated title contender Joe. He retained the championship for 292 days, becoming the longest holder of the championship in history, but quickly lost it to another wrestler named Joe.
Finn Balor’s career took a leap forward when he was drafted to RAW and debuted with a win and the right to compete for the WWE Universal Championship after defeating Cesaro, Rusev and Kevin Owens in the match. at 4 in Le Fatal and also defeated Roman Reigns. He won the 2016 WWE Universal Championship by defeating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
Injury Updates
After nearly a year out due to injury, Finn Balor suffered from his 2016 WWE Universal Championship SummerSlam win, he got another one on April 10, 2018, in a match against Jinder Mahal. Finn suffered a concussion after being punched multiple times in the face, which resulted in him being removed from the week’s events.
Question about whether or not he is an injury prone wrestler has surfaced thus reducing the trust companies place in him as a major star. However, given that he has rebounded from an earlier injury, he should make a full recovery and see the action unfold in the ring shortly.

Cathy Kelley is Balor’s girlfriend. She was born on September 27, 1988 in Oak Park, Illinois, USA to Liz Kovacs (mother), who raised her as a single mother. Her full name is Catherine Kelley and she works as a WWE ring announcer in addition to being a TV host, reporter and social media correspondent for NXT.
She is undoubtedly a beautiful lady with brown hair and dark brown eyes. Finn’s horse is 5ft 6in and weighs 60kg. Her body measurements are 32-26-34 inches including bust, waist and hips.
