apply for a Finnish Visa.

- This visa is for those traveling to Finland for the purpose of recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing.
- Foreigners who have been invited to Finland by their family and friends residing in the country are the eligible applicants of this visa.
- A letter of invitation from the friend or relative inviting you to Finland is required. The letter should state valid contact information of the host and the duration of the visit.
- Foreigners visiting Finland on this visa are free to attend festivals and events of their choice.
- If the applicant of this visa is employed, a certificate of employment from his/her employer is required. The letter should state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and the length of employment.
- Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original of their birth certificate. If the minor is traveling with one or none of his/her parents, a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- Holders of this visa are neither allowed to be employed or take up a course of study in an institution in the country.

Requirements
- Business travelers visiting Finland for the purpose of developing and maintaining business relationships between the applicant’s company and the host company.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to negotiate and sign contracts with their partner companies during business meetings.
- Business travelers are allowed to attend trade fairs, business seminars, and conferences relating to their profession.
- An invitation issued by the business partner or institution in Finland is required. The invitation should introduce the applicant and state the nature of the business to be carried out. The duration and purpose of the visa should be stated in the letter.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer should be provided. The letter should state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and the duration of the business leave.
- The business letter provided by the sponsoring company should clearly state the entity that would be responsible for the applicant’s finances in Finland.
- Proof of previous trade relations between the host company and the sponsoring company should be provided, if any.
- Non-Egyptians applying for this visa from Egypt must provide a valid copy of their residence permit.
- Proof that the payment of visa application fee has been made is required.

Requirements
- Foreigners who have the intention of studying in an academic institution in Finland are the eligible applicants of this visa.
- Applicants who have not been accepted into an academic institution in the country will not be issued this visa.
- Letter of admission from the institution the applicant has been accepted into should be provided. The letter should state the course the applicant has been accepted to study and the duration of the study programme.
- Certificates and transcripts gotten from the previously attended schools by the applicant should be provided.
- The applicant should provide a document from his/her local physician in Egypt stating that the applicant is in good health condition.
- Students are permitted to work for a part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.
- This visa is valid for the duration of the study programme.
- Proof of sufficient means of subsistence is required.
- All requested documents have to be translated into English or Finnish.
