Basketball player Festus Ezeli-Ndulue, a Nigerian-American, was born on October 21, 1989.
He formerly participated in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for five seasons.
Before the Golden State Warriors picked him with the 30th overall choice in the 2012 NBA Draft, he played collegiate basketball for Vanderbilt.
2015 was the year Ezeli and the Warriors won the NBA Championship. He last participated in the NBA Finals in 2016, and after having knee surgery in the 2017 season, he did not play basketball again until 2021.
Ezeli came to Nashville in 2007 as a biology major and one of the most inexperienced basketball players. He was routinely outplayed by Ogilvy in practice during his first two years in the program, when he was still learning many of the fundamentals of the game.
However, the Commodores staff began to notice that Ogilvy was struggling to score against Ezeli in practice as early as halfway through his redshirt freshman season.
